Hi Ladies

Im hoping someone can shed some light on this for me im very upset and cant see a way forward

I had ovarian drilling and tube dye test and was told everything looked normal and that ovarian drilling should help make me ovulate i suffer with pcos nad irregular periods

i managed somehow to get pregnant but then had a weird bleed and was sent to EPU scans sowed nothing hcg was 797 they sent me home as i felt fine and no symptoms but they were worried about a mass of about 15x15x16 on one of my ovaries (cyst or ectopic) i bled heavy and my hcg cme dwon slowly 797 to 396 to 175 then it went up and bleeding stopped to 365 and now 498

can i still be pregnant? i may have to have methotrexate to kill it off properly can anyone advise me on this
im so scared
was pointless having the op in the first place as the effects ware off within 3 months n with methotreate u cant get pregnant for atleast three months after. really low and down. please help

I'm not sure I can be much help but I have had an ectopic pregnancy.
I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Unfortunately they do advise you to wait 6mnths before getting pg after metho.
It stops cells dividing and is used in much higher doses to fight cancer.

If you have surgery to remove the ectopic you have a high chance of losing a tube and the longer an ectopic bumps about the more damage it's doing inside.

There is an ectopic support thread on here where you will get lots of emotional support.

It's a horrid place to be and everything is very raw for you now but one day this too will pass.

Please do make sure you discuss thoroughly all the options open to you with the hospital treating you.
