3 miscarriages in 4 months - getting worried

This is my first post on these boards although I have been an avid reader of various topics for a while.

I am 34 with a 2.4 month old daughter who was conceived naturally on the first month of trying (following an early miscarriage - again first month ttc). This summer we decided to ttc and I fell pregnant 1st month again and this ended at 8 weeks (baby measured 6 weeks) and I had an erpc. We waited 6 weeks as advised and then I fell pregnant straight away - this ended with a natural mc at 5.5 weeks. I had some bloods done and in the mean time fell pregnant 2 weeks later - this ended with mc at 4.5 weeks last Sat.

The doc has referred me to a gyno and I have an appointment next month - she said that one of my bloods showed up decreased ovarian reserve but as the test was taken about 7 days after a mc it may have been taken at the wrong time and I should have it tested again.

I am getting myself in a state about this - I thought one of the symptoms of DOR was difficulty in conceiving - clearly this isn't a problem I have but maybe my eggs are just crap!
I guess I am hoping for some hope/successes of others or any advise on how to cope with this nightmare
Thanks for reading x

I don't know anything about DOR sorry, but I didn't want to read and run. I'm so sorry you've had 3 mc's. I had 2 inbetween my dc's, and like you fell pg in the first month each time. Will you be having investigations now that you've sadly had 3 consecutive mc's?
Take heart in that you can get pg easily and can carry to full term.
Take care of yourself dx

Hi Clockers, I'm very sorry to hear about your losses. I don't have experience of miscarriage myself but have read on here before about "hyper-fertility". I did a quick search and found this thread which may be of interest?

Thank you for your replies - BeeBread, that is very interesting, not heard of it before but it seems to fit with me as 5 pregnancies all conceived in the 1st month doesn't seem normal! I have an appointment with a consultant in Jan so the wheels are in motion for further investigations so I will mention it to him then and in the mean time I am going to have a break for a couple of months while we are having tests.
