I was going to take it to a charity shop but would prefer to send it to someone on this board..any takers?
i might also be able to dig out Alan Beer's book on NK Cells (Is your Body Baby Friendly) but not sure where it is! let me know if you're interested.

PS hi mumatron how are you doing? how old is your LO now? eight/nine weeks? mine is almost six weeks and i'm really hitting the wall with sleep deprivation, but every day thankful for our little miracle.

hi sotough Eliza is fab, 5 weeks this week. god knows how i'm coping with little/no sleep. i think it's because she has a routine, even though it's a routine of not sleeping very much Grin

can't believe how quickly it's going though. they don't stay babies for long do they?

sotough · 09/02/2011 10:51

oh, so we're exactly the same stage! we also have a routine, mostly of not sleeping, but at least i know when the not sleeping is going to happen!

Mumatron - I'd be very grateful for the book - will PM you x

Which book is it? If it is worth reading I'll buy a copy.

Penel · 09/02/2011 19:00

Not read the book. Would you recommend it? Now on second miscarriage and feel I should educate myself so I understand what everyone is talking about. Apparently we don't qualify for special support until we are on our third miscarriage, so feel in the dark at the moment as to what if anything we/I should be doing differently to help increase our chances of carrying a baby to full term.

i would defo recommend reading this.

realistically the majority of the nhs has very little interest in recurrent miscarriages, so alot of the time we have to fight for tests and treatments. the more informed you are about tests etc the better.

there are other books out there but i would advise this one as lots of nhs consultants refer to Lesley Regan for guidance on how to test/treat rmc.

jollster i missed the post office today stalking lunatics thread but it's all packed up ready to post in the morning.
