Antiphospholipid antibodies & recurrent mc

Hello
I was diagnosed with antiphospholipid antibodies about a year ago. Since then I have had 2 natural pg's but each failed (one at 8wks and one at 6 wks) despite using daily clexane injections and 150mg aspirin (advised by St Mary's as TEG tests showed fast clotting). I have done what what was suggested and frustrated and disappointed that I have now just had 3rd consec mc.

Anyone been treated for this condition successfully. I thought with treatment the success rate goes from 10% to 70%. Feel like I'm always on the wrong end of the statistics!

Am lucky to have ds 4 but have been trying for 3 years now. Was so hopeful when a problem was found.

Thanks

Hi, sorry you've had such an awful time recently.

I have Lupus and my Antiphospholipid antbodies were borderline high during both my successful pregnancies. First time I had daily injections of Fragmin (like Heparin), the second time I just had aspirin.

It took 8 years of TTC to have my little family (DD now 6yo and DS is 2.5yo), during which I had several early MCs and an ectopic pregnancy.

I hope you have the strength to be able to continue - and that you find the right set of medication to help you.
