Menopause belly

My abdomen is quite flat with dips around my hip bones- my arms and legs are pretty thin - bit of a bingo wing but my hum has all but disappeared!

However from just below my belly button slightly to my right I have a swollen belly

Fairly sure its bloating - had a recent mri (lots picked up but nothing to cause this)

What can I do?

I also have Fibromyalgia, CFS/ME, hypothyroid, IBS, a gallstone, hypermobility & i take HRT

My thyroid ispretty well medicated as my blood pressure is down to normal (still a bit high for me but normal)

But this belly!!

If you have had investigations into your bowel then it's obviously nothing serious. If not, see your GP.

If you feel there is a lump of some sort only on one side you should see your GP to check it's not your ovary (unless this was ruled out by the MRI.)

If it's just fat, then weight loss is the only way.

No ovaries

No recent bowel stuff but the mri was pretty wide (they spotted the gallstone)

I thought it was bloating I guess, maybe ill have a chat with the gp

Bloating would move and increase/decrease. Neither that nor menopausal fat deposits would be - and remain - one sided.

That makes sense

About 8 yrs ago i had a mango sized lump that turned out to be multiple small lumps of fat in my abdomen wall (i'd forgotten but your post triggered the memory) - so im now wondering if its an extension of that in a slightly different place
