Does this actually do anything?

My only symptoms are anxiety, brain fog and insomnia. Oh and no periods.

The lack of sleep and energy are really affecting me but I’m not sure whether it’s enough to make me try HRT.

I keep seeing the nutrion geek’s bundles on social media and wondered whether it’s worth a try or if my symptoms are enough for HRT?

No, it’s just social media hype and profiteering from a life stage.

MedSchoolRat · 25/04/2026 10:22

Snake oil.

Your 'only symptoms'?

You have loads!

You have enough symptoms for HRT

Charliede1182 · 25/04/2026 10:47

No this is just rampant exploitation and profiteering off women in a vulnerable place.

The only evidence based, worthwhile treatment for menopause is hormone replacement.

Anything else is not addressing the underlying cause of symptoms.

At best these products marketed at menopause cause financial harm, disappointment and delay women seeking proper medical care.

I’m glad I posted!!

Thank you, I thought as much. You are all amazing. I’ll ignore the ads and make a GP appointment!

@JinglingSpringbells I know! I just feel like maybe I’m not doing as bad as some people that I’ve spoken to so feel that I’m being a bit pathetic! Silly I know!

Well, you can take what you like but the most likely outcome is just very expensive wee.

HRT is your best bet to get your mojo back, not to mention the possible protective benefits against cardiovascular disease, dementia and osteoporosis. I suspect once or kicks in you’ll realise your symptoms really did justify it.

Thank you. I’ve made an appointment with the GP although it’s a not for month because I asked to speak to someone about menopause. I’ve already waited more than a year so another month is fine.
