Could taking Utrogestan vaginally cause an earlier bleed than orally?

I’m very sensitive to progesterone. I take Utrogestan 200mg 14/28 days and when prescribed the GP said it could be taken orally or vaginally. I’ve been taking it for 2 years and there is no sign of my bloody periods ever ending

this cycle I decided to try vaginally to see if it helped alleviate some of the mood issues I get in the second half of my cycle but I started spotting not long after I started the utrogesran stage and last night my period arrived early by about 5-7 days. I’m never early by more than 1 day usually.

could it be that taking it vaginally has causes
my Period to come early or is it likely
to be coincidental?

It's more likely to be an early natural period.

I'm a bit confused though by this I’ve been taking it for 2 years and there is no sign of my bloody periods ever ending

You will have a withdrawal bleed for as long as you use it on a cycle.
You can't tell if it's your own periods or not .
