What HRT are you on?

I am 59, and just getting round to thinking that I might benefit from some HRT. (I had a Mirena coil, so never really noticed menopause because I didn't have any periods anyway). My main/slight problem is vaginal, everything else feels fine.

So I am dipping my toes in the HRT pool, and just wondered what everyone else is on? And for what particular reasons, if any?

Thanks in advance!

I'm on all of it.

Mirena, 100mcg oestrogen patch, vaginal oestrogen cream, testosterone.

Plus magnesium, probiotics, high strength vitamin D and a lot of yoga 😂

I did ask about testosterone, what do you find it helpful for?

@TwentyFourHoursToTulsa libido. In a phenomenal way.

Yes a friend of a friend was telling me about that 😄I'm pretty happy with my libido where it is, also the nurse said to see what happened on the oestrogen.

Does testosterone do/help with anything else?

Not in my experience. Unless you see thick leg hair as a positive!

Wow wow wow. I inserted the first oestrogen pessary yesterday afternoon. There has been a literal overnight change. Feeling so much more comfortable down there, and there's been actual physical evidence that isn't just in my mind 😆 Seriously, this has been amazing. Literally overnight. Amazing.

Well - I decided after reading this (and a lot of other threads, websites etc) to request HRT. Unfortunately it turns out what I was prescribed (Oestrogel pump) seems to be out of stock every where and apparently discontinued - so my pharmacy could not supply it. I've gone back to ask for another brand / type of HRT instead....

However while waiting around at the pharmacy while they checked all this, I did have the opporunity to find out about the HRT pre payment prescription option - I didn't know about this so I'm pleased ! Will certainly be cheaper

I have had a hysterectomy so no progesterone. I am on 75 patches (can never remember if they are mcg or mg) and also twice weekly estrogen vaginal cream.
