Best reminder App for Oestrogen patch change

Hi Ladies,
I have been on Evorel patches for about 2 Months, and now that the HRT is starting to become familiar and fairly routine, I am starting to forget to change it on the correct day (I know that it is not rocket science but my often frenetic brain/overthinking combined with brain fog make me forget sometimes.

Can anyone recommend a good App compatible with an Android phone? (I know I can set reminders in my phone but would prefer an App that blatantly beams a message at me (kinda Hello do it now so you don't forget change your patch today vibe :) .......so I can remember)

Thanks

Just set an alarm that repeats on the two days of the week you change it- that’s what I do. No app needed.

You call the alarm “change patch”. Set it for the evening when you know you are home.

I have an app through my GP I use for this. It’s called patient access. I do ignore it sometimes though! 🙄

I use my calendar to remind me. I have to remember to take my progesterone tablets for 2 weeks a month. It reminds me when to start and when to stop. I'm ADHD so I'd be screwed otherwise.

I did this, set for a time of day which would work for me in the general routine of life. It was a different time on the 2 days.

I do it the old fashioned way OP - I used a old label printer and made a label that reads "Monday AM.......Thurs PM". I stuck it to the shelf my toothbrush is on in the bathroom, so I can't forget.

I couldn't be arsed last night though so I changed it this morning! They are usually good for 4 days.

I use an app called Medisafe. It’s free. I take medication on alternate days plus some only twice a week . This keeps me on track

Does your Android phone have the equivalent of iPhone’s critical alert? That, in conjunction with my Apple Watch is invaluable in getting me to remember my meds. I’ve a terrible memory.

I use the medication reminder in health app, see if your phone has something similar. Also have used my Alexa for reminders too.

I like the app Habit Now - very handy because you can set it to track all sorts of different things on different schedules and it will keep on reminding you until you mark it as done, plus giving you stats to keep you accountable. The free version is pretty effective though there are bells and whistles on the fairly cheap paid one.
