Hi Does anyone get twitches all over their body everyday ? Been having them for 9 months . Doctors say they are menopause related
but can’t help but worry it’s something else .

Constantly! Tbh I’ve always had them but they’re way worse since menopause.

I sometimes get them all over and then also have a few days where they will mostly be in one place are yours similar? I freak myself out that I have ALS then my anxiety goes through the roof .

Honestly, there's your answer: anxiety (and tiredness). You could try learning to relax physically using a technique called "Progressive muscle relaxation" or learn to meditate.

Thank you I will have a look into that and give it a try .

Oh my god yes!!!! I've been and had bloods done and nothing is showing, I was starting to think I was going mad!

CosiFannyTutte · 21/11/2025 17:12

Hi, yes definitely. It's more noticeable when I'm tired and/or stressed. I try not to worry about it too much.

Me too. Four years since last period and twitches are awful. Especially when I’m at rest. Like you I keep googling and going down the MND rabbit hole. Did dr do any tests or just say it’s menopause related? I feel very anxious about it.

@Ree1974 Are you on HRT? I am very progesterone sensitive and the mini pill and mirena coil did this to me. I’m now on body identical and it’s disappeared!

Try magnesium glycinate.

susiedaisy1912 · 24/11/2025 14:14

Yes and I have found that magnesium glycinate helps. I can always tell within a week if I get sloppy with taking it.

OchreSwan · 24/11/2025 14:34

Magnesium always helps me with twitches too (mostly in my eyelids but occasionally fingers/hands!)
