Medication confusion

I’ve recently been prescribed estradiol spray and with it gepretix, progesterone capsules.

I’m well into my menopause having not had a period for over five years but the gepretix says take one capsule once a day on days 1 to 25 of your cycle.

Should I suppose that the prescriber hasn’t seen that I haven’t had a period for five years and this is the wrong medication for me?
It was prescribed via a telephone appt with a GP I’ve never seen before.

Thanks in advance.

Scroll down the list to UTROGESTAN (the sort you've been given is the same just another brand name.)

You'll see it says take daily.

UTROGESTAN
Micronised progesterone
100mg at bedtime from day 1 to 25 of each 28 day cycle (licensed regimen), though taken every day is usually recommended
