A double -blind, placebo-controlled study for 3 months published in 2001 (blood & saliva tested measuring hormone levels, and patients kept diaries) showed little effect in menopause symptoms, I wouldn’t expect real improvement I’m afraid.

This was first around over 30 years ago as a 'progesterone cream' and claimed to do all sorts.

It does nothing.

If it worked, it would be prescription-only as a hormone treatment.

The science is that 'progesterone' in the type in the cream cannot be converted through the skin into progesterone.

The posts from women that say it works are when it works as a placebo.

Prescribed HRT is made from yams, and works, as it's scientifically manufactured.

If if DID work then it wouldn't be available over the counter as some women could have a medical history that made it unsafe.

You have my sympathy op.

Sage leaf tablets can help with flushes.
Magnesium can be a huge help for some symptoms too. I’ve found magnesium L threonate to work best for me.

Have you had any blood tests?
Levels in the low range of normal for Ferritin, B12, Folate, Vit D can all cause the symptoms you are suffering. Getting into the higher range may improve things (eg, Our lab marks ferritin as normal at 20 but up to 300 is normal, lots of women would feel better at over 50, or even 75, but will be marked’normal’ at just 20). Thyroid issues can also contribute to symptoms. I hope you find something to help OP, it’s awful enough on HRT for some of us, I can’t imagine not even having that option Flowers
