Utrogestan question

I’m taking Utrogestan 12 days out of the month PV as I don’t get on with it orally . I seem to have more side effects of it taken orally . I’ve done this for two years . It’s messy and I find it annoying ! I take Oestrogen gel for 16 days prior to this .
im going on holiday in sept for a week to a hot country and the 12 days will fall exactly on this week .
Can I do 2 sessions of Oestrogen gel before I take the Utrogestan? Has anyone done this ? I guess it’s a stupid question as it will mess up my cycle …

I'm confused. You are meant to use estrogen every single day.
Have you only used it for half a month ?

No sorry that I wasn’t being specific- I take the oestrogen gel every single day and the Utrogestan for 12 days out of every month

I'm not sure what you're asking. What do you want to change and why?

I don't understand what you mean by '2 sessions of Oestrogen gel'.

OP, do you mean can you just continue oestrogen only and then start your progesterone cycle when you come back?

in short, yes you can but you should seek medical advice.

Some women, me included, are on long cycles. So for me I do oestrogen only for 6 weeks then progesterone.

Yes, as PP says, are you asking if you can carry on with estrogen only and delay the Utrogestan?

I'm on a long cycle too, but it is with medical agreement with a consultant.
You shouldn't do this long term without medical agreement and it often includes having a routine scan now and then to check the lining.

You can ask your GP, they may not be sure, although it's a one-off when you're on holiday.
