47 years old. On HRT....mirena coil plus evorel patches 70 for 2 years.
Recently I have felt very overwhelmed due to studying for pgcert ( now over), working, teen dd doing alevel mocks, housework etc.
My brain feels broken...wrong words ( e.g...if I want to say house I might say flat or bungalo). Unable to find the right word or sentence. Really anxious, annoyed with dh ( who is truly wonderful and supportive), talking general rubbish, unable to recognise people.
Ideally I need more sleep but must get up at 5.30am for long commute to work.

Oh and I'm finding technology overwhelming....all the smart stuff moves so fast, apps keep updating, info overload...can't hold info.
Long term memory great but forgetting what I meant to do next.

Same, 48, no other symptoms except crippling brain fog (not helped by family stress though) Confused I’ve just started testosterone to see if that will help.

Hey there,
I was able to massively improve my 'rage' and brain fog by switching to a low carb diet that is high in natural fats. It sounds odd, but it works for me.
If you are interested in the science behind why such changes might work, a good starting point is Georgia Ede, she has a book, Change Your Diet Change Your Mind, but you can also watch her lecture on YouTube. It is well worth an hour of your time.

I m not quite the same, but am a little foggy. (46)

My son started weightlifting and gymming a few months ago. He is taking creatine, apparently it's good for menopausal women too. Dr Marie Claire Haver advises on diet supplements for menopausal women, protein and creatine are advised for brain health (also some fish oils for joints).

I think I m late stage perimenopause, periods have gone haywire. Have gone over 100 days without one, but then had 3 in a row, for the last six months it's been patchy but light, missing the odd one.

What stage do you think you are in?
