Better alternatives to WellWoman?

Hi, for very early stages of perimenopause (pretty certain that's what it is due to combination of symptoms - but nothing so major yet that I feel the need for hrt), I've been trying WellWoman. Mainly to help with tiredness, constantly looking like a drawn in corpse in the face, aches, trouble sleeping, feeling low and anxious etc plus very painful cycles. I think it has been helping a little but might be a placebo.

However- it has definitely made me gassy / bloated. And if I don't eat quite a lot when I take it, make me feel really sick too. I also think I've put on weight since taking it although that could be the meno itself I guess!

Does anyone have better supplement suggestions for early stages that would help with similar symptoms, without causing gas and bloating or nausea?

Those are the symptoms for which many women use HRT.

Supplements aren't going to help- they are mainly vitamins you can get from everyday food.

Maybe reconsider?

Yep wellwoman makes both me and my best friend nauseous to the point of vomiting too!

I've justed started Floridix liquid (iron and b vits), so far no nausea/sickness, so i recommend.

I also take a separate multi vitamin (not with iron) occasionally

Plus Magnesium most days ( 5 types in one pill, can't remember the name sorry!)

I am in the very early stages of perimenopause (only 40) and have benefitted massively from low level HRT (Femoston 1/10). My main symptoms were exhaustion, awful brain fog, trouble sleeping, heavy periods, episodes of anxiety and very low mood. HRT has worked wonders on all of these symptoms. I felt better mentally within days. Beforehand I had tried exercise, weight training, magnesium, iron, vitamin D, antidepressants etc etc with no luck.

The only supplement which I noticed a difference was with magnesium in letting me fall asleep faster though I would still wake up in the early hours. High strength vitamin b and vitamin d did nothing.

Hmm really interesting thank you. Im only 40 and it just seems so soon for hrt...I don't feel like my gp would take me v seriously even if I did ask. It's not taking over my life or anything, just something I wanted to try and improve a bit. Apparently WellWoman also have a PeriMeno version now, don't know if that's any different.

I bought it myself over the internet initially but my GP prescribed it after a few months. She said that 40 was 'old' enough to start feeling symptoms of lowered estrogen and why struggle if I didn't have to. A few of my peers also started at a similar age. I'm 18 months through a PhD in maths/AI and was simply unable to work on the bad brain fog days which was unacceptable for me.
