Hi, sorry I am new to this, wanting a bit of advice really. I am 53, i had not had a period since the beginning of September, I am now experience bleeding now for about a month, sometimes light, sometimes heavy, has anyone else experienced this. Unsure whether to go to the doctors and don’t think there is anything they can do?

I had a never-ending period about a year ago. The doctor gave me tranexamic acid which worked a treat.

You're getting over 6 months of womb lining coming away at once.
You can try tranexamic acid (over the counter) or ibuprofen.
If it carries on and is really bad, you could think about a Mirena coil but at your age you're likely to be close to post-menopause.

Thank you, strange is I don’t have pain with it, just relentless if you know what I mean, wish it would hurry up and stop

No, tranexamic acid reduces the blood flow. You can buy it in pharmacies.
