Can I take other vitamins with Menopace?

Hi,
I just wanted some advice as I already take Menopace to help with my menopause symptoms. I was just wondering if it is safe to take other vitamins with it as well which may help?

You've asked this a lot OP, are you ok?

Gwenhwyfar · 10/04/2025 16:51

You can find the max amounts per day for every vitamin online. Look at the vitamins you want to take and calculate how much you would be getting of each one that is in both packets and then look up whether it's too much.

INeedAnotherName · 10/04/2025 17:52

No idea. Can you list what is in menospace and the relevant quantities? Do you know if you are deficient in any particular vitamin anyway (found out by a blood test).

Also, why do you feel you need extra.

Yes I'm fine thank you. I am taking a vitam D with it so wanted to know if I could as there's vitamin D in the supplement already. But I suffer with severe joint pain and wanted to know if it was safe for me to take an extra vitamin D to help with the joint pain.

You can take up to 4,000 iu daily of Vitamin D, however it should really be taken with Vitamin K for better absorption.

I see there are three different types of menospace and since you haven't mentioned which one I'm not comfortable with posting any further help. Hopefully I've given you enough information though.

Thank you very much for replying. I will do this tomorrow x

Hi, thank you for replying. I take the original Menopace as it was recommended by the store assistant at Holland and Barrett x

I think that you seem very anxious indeed about this menopace @NewPlumCat This is the 4th or 5th thread you’ve started about it.

Are you on HRT?

Hi, thank you for replying. I have read the ingredients for Menopace and Vit D is added in the supplement. But I feel I need an extra dose as I suffer with chronic joint pain but I don't want to take too much and overdose myself. I did have a blood test a couple of months ago and my GP said my vit D levels were normal but I get a lot of joint pain. The joint pain only started since I became menopausal x

Your other thread last week asked if you could take HRT now you're diagnosed with fatty liver. Did you ask your GP because you were only diagnosed with FL last week at roughly the same time you were given estrogen gel and Utrogestan.

Why not ask your GP if you can take HRT, which is probably going to help far more than taking more Vit D.

Hi, thank you for your message. Yes I have asked my GP, actually 2 of them if its still okay to take the micoronised progesterone tablet and estrogen patches as I've got a fatty liver and they've said yes. But I don't know how they can say this. Doesn't it say your not allowed to take HRT if you have a fatt liver. I am not sure if I've been given the right advice by my GP?

So are you saying you have read something that contradicts what your GPs have told you?

If that's what you think, go back to your GP and discuss it.

I read it on Google so I was a but concerned. But my GP's have told me it's safe to take despite I have mild fatty liver disease.

I think you need to be honest with yourself over this because it's causing you to over-think and be anxious.
You had some very long threads running recently about your anxiety over using HRT.
It looks as if you were persuaded by posters saying try it- so you went to your GP and got a different sort, because you'd not tried the patches you were given a while ago. Are you sure you're not convincing yourself that your FL is another reason not to use HRT?
I don't know what other answers you want if 2 GPs have said it's ok.

Hi, thank you for your message. I'm just very worried because as I said, I read on Google and it said, HRT can make a fatty liver worse. My GP said it was safe for me to take HRT. I am not sure what to do.

Correct me someone if I am wrong, but my understanding of menopace is that it’s a multi vitamin supplement, packaged together to address menopause systems. It’s not a drug as such. Not saying it’s not effective for some people but I don’t think it’s something you need to overthink.

hope it works a treat for you.
