Age Spots? SK's: Seborrheic Keratosis? Senile Warts? Perimenopausal Skin Issues

Last year my Dad tragically died. I was there. Immediately afterwards I started to experience itchy skin and have high blood pressure.

GP said high BP likely caused by the trauma and it may resolve as I come to terms with everything. It hasn't and I now take medication.

My GP couldn't explain the skin issues but said it could be perimenopausal. I haven't read anything about blood pressure meds causing skin issues.

Then I got my first Seborrheic Keratosis. It grew quickly and was constantly inflamed and I had never experienced so much itchiness before. In the end it was removed by the NHS as they were unsure what it was.

I've recently realised that I have 4 more Seb K's. 1 is really itchy. I have a GP appt booked but it's 4 weeks away.

I've read so much about Seb K's but there's limited 'real life' info.

I'm starting to spiral into panic as I've read Seb K's can be a 'Leser-Trélat' symptom of internal cancer. I can't see anything relating to this about frequency and amount of Seb K's.

I've read they are generally on the trunk area.
Mine are on my chest and both legs.

So I'm looking for any advice or experiences:

My specific questions are:

∆ What age did your Seb K's appear?
∆ Did you get Seb K's one at a time or in multiple?
∆ How many do you have?
∆ How do you manage the itchiness?

Thanks for reading all this.

I developed psoriasis-y stuff on my scalp and inside my ears! I got some amazing stuff from the doctors which you are supposed to use regularly but I used it once and my ears were instantly fixed! It gets rid of the skin stuff round ,my hairline and soothes any itching too but that does need to be used every week to keep it at bay. I'll post the name later when I get out from under this cat !

It's just ageing really that is the cause.

Do you mean the raised, rough and slightly brown spots people can get? Often on their backs or trunk and sometimes linked to sun bathing in the past?

You can have them removed (privately by a dermo or some skin clinics) with laser or cold ice, or surgically if big.

And if they look odd they need checking for basal skin carcinoma.

My DP has a LOT on his back but he had a lot of sun as a teen, living near the coast. He's had some removed by the NHS and privately. His don't itch. Most of them appeared in his 50s.

I have/had loads plus skin tags (I am a beautiful delight 😊). Some I've had since early twenties, a burst of more during pregnancy and now yet more perimenopause. I get them removed at a specialist electrolysis place. Mine don't itch but I now almost see it as an annual maintenance thing. Initially during pregnancy I had them checked out at dr so nothing dodgy about them.
