Weight loss meal plans - something that I can follow without thinking too much

I’ve gained so much weight the last few years and nothing I do is shifting it.

I thought I was eating fairly ok, but I’ve just hit 12 stone so clearly not.

I need some kind of plan or book I can follow with that tells me what to eat with easy, quick recipes. By the time I get home from work, I don’t have a whole lot of time for faffing.

I go to the gym twice a week plus a personal trainer session once a week and DH and I play tennis (badly) once a week. I’m a bit more toned than I used to be, but my weight is just increasing.

I’ve had a bit of a Google, but there’s so much choice my head is spinning so can anyone recommend anything that has worked for them.

Thank you!!

Ask chat gpt- say what you want, eg. I want a meal plan with average calories of 1300 a day, low carb/ high protein or whatever, then ask it for a meal plan, a shopping list, and recipes. You can then ask it to tweak it, eg. Make 2 days veggie or whatever. If you want things that cook in 10 mins, or can be batch cooked and frozen etc, specify that as well.

My advice if you don't want faff is to focus on simple meals.

Breakfast- 200mgs 5% Greek yoghurt and fruit. Or 2 eggs any way. Or small bowl of porridge (but not the ready made stuff as it contains sugar.)

Lunch and Dinner - a slab of protein like chicken, salmon fillet, other fish, tinned fish (sardines or salmon), lean meat, 3-egg omelette, small piece of cheese, stir fry, small wholewheat pasta dish with a simple sauce, (look at what 'small' is online), soup.
Loads of veg (5 a day) either steamed or raw in a salad. 3 portions of fruit.

Depending on what you choose, you might want to add a small portion of wholegrain rice (1 tablespoon), a slice or wholegrain bread, or oats.
