Discharge on HRT

Hi all I've been using HRT gel for 9months now, now issues at all with it no periods either but I've been very remiss at taking Utrogestan at night - I know, my own fault entirely as so used to taking medication in the morning. Anyway for the last two weeks I've had very light pink discharge or brown discharge. Getting an appointment at my doctors is nigh on impossible but was wondering if I start taking the utrogestan regularly the discharge might stop?

If you miss taking Utrogestan it's very common to have break through bleeding.

You must take the progesterone because it protects you from uterine cancer. Can you set a reminder on your phone to take them? I have a pill box by my bed with each day's tablets in and take the bedtime ones as I get into bed.

Have you not taken any for 9 months?

If that's the case you need to see your GP and will probably be referred for a scan of your womb lining.

You may need a different type of progesterone short-term if it's too thick.
