Perimenopause & on continuous hrt but still having periods

does anyone know how I can stop my period when I’m on continuous hrt ? I take 100mg utrogestan & I’m prescribed 2/3 pumps of oestrogel . I was put on continuous 4 months ago as I was on the combined pill which I took continuously & didn’t have periods. I do have an ovarian cyst , adenymosis & a fibroid , gynae have investigated and aren’t concerned. Recently I’ve stopped oestrogel & use occasionally as I’m scared this can ‘feed’ fibroids . I’m due to go on holiday & since starting hrt I have a monthly period & odd day where I have spotting . Should I increase utrogestan to 200 mg daily to stop the monthly bleed or should I take the period delay tablet noristherine ? Thanks

Why are you taking the utrgoestan when you've stopped the oestrogen? It seems strange, did you consult GP?
HRT is normally both (as you've got a womb) and so I'm not sure if you can take just progesterone. Check with GP

A pharmacist told me oestrogen isn’t good for fibroids I also have a high shbg

You shouldn’t stop taking oestrogel if you’re still taking utrogestan.

How long had your periods stopped for when you started taking utrogestan daily? Assume longer than 12 months?

Whatever you do, do NOT increase your utrogestan dose when you’re not even taking oestrogen.

You need to talk to a menopause specialist (either a GP or gynaecologist/menopause clinic) and get their advice before messing with your dosage / prescriptions.

That may be true but you can't stop one part of HRT in isolation. I'd really encourage you to speak to a GP
