Tongue and skin

I’ve recently gone through surgical menopause and due to a cancer diagnosis I cannot take HRT. I’m in my late 30s so wasn’t even having perimenopause symptoms so this is all new to me!
a couple of questions for you lovely ladies…
Has anyone had problems with their tongue? I have a white coating at the back but no pain? Any ideas?
I need a good, reasonably priced face cream - my skin is definitely drier! Does anyone have any recommendations?
Similarly a foundation that isn’t drying (see also reasonably priced but will pay more if it is amazing!!!)
Any advice would be much appreciated. It has been a tough few months so it would be nice to feel like my skin isn’t drying out!

The hormone change can have quite a few effects on your mouth and gums . Dry mouth is certainly a possibility , which causes the white build up. Tongue scrapers or just brushing your tongue helps, along with keeping well hydrated and chewing sugar free chewing gum to help the saliva glands do their job.

It might be worth seeing your dentist.
Mine always does a full assessment of my mouth during a routine check up.
A white coating is normal but it depends who 'bad' it is.
Have you tried cleaning your tongue with your toothbrush?

Face creams etc- there are loads of brands and it depends on your budget.
Worth looking at Olay, L'Oreal, Clinique, Boots own brands...lots of choice with them all.
