Hello, I'm a 30 year old woman and been having some health issues lately. Been to the doctors multiple times. I've found out I have urine retention, I've been having pain in my groin with a lump that felt hard that went down my leg and found out it's a swollen lymph node. The doctor said he wasn't worried about it but can't give me antibiotics because already had some and dismissed it. I've also been having night sweats that's on and off that goes behind my neck, back and under my breast that wakes me up. I've had itchy arms on and off but doctor just said to take piritin.

@Tiny19944 I think you should be fairly blunt with your GP. Night sweats are one of the reg flag symptoms, he should be asking you questions about the others and/or referring you to a specialist.

I will be tomorrow, hopefully I will get it sorted. Definitely making me worried. I'm gonna request a full blood test.

I had night sweats in my late thirties - 10 years later my periods stopped for good.

Could be perimenopause, autoimmune related, infection or cancer. Insist on blood tests, esr, crp, full blood count, kidney function ,ana, diabetes. I skim read through & couldn't see anything about weight loss? Have you had any viruses lately? My dp had post viral night sweats & weight loss. Good luck op, hope you get it sorted but please see your GP asap.

Have you experienced any unexplained bruising or fatigue?

Tiny19944 · 29/01/2025 18:08

No weight loss, no brusing. Sometimes get tired by mom of 4 so feels natural
