Any suggestions for Menopause doctor Central London

I would like to visit a private doctor in Central London to go over my options. I have an NHS GP but would rather have visited a private doctor first in case the GP tries to fob me off. I would like to see a woman preferably to discuss my options but don't know where to start. I have looked at the menopause society but it's just a list of names.

I'd suggest that you start by looking at the main private hospitals in central London- assuming you know them - and looking at their consultants. There will be quite a few (look under gynaecologists) who specialise in menopause.

Does it have to be central London? Parkside in Wimbledon is great and they have GPs who specialize in HRT/menopause.

Yes, wimbledon is really far for me. I live in central london. I found a woman called Leila Frodsham at St Thomas'. Anyone heard of her?

@Memeapple I'd look at No132 Harley St, (women's health clinic), King Edward V11 Hospital, and the Lister Hospital Chelsea.

You could also look at Dr Louise Newson's Clinic in Wimpole Street- google for the details.
All the other specialists I know are male, so you'd not want them.

I know you don’t want a man but Nick Panay is amazing. I’m also really bad with blood tests and his nurses are THE BEST I’ve had (I’ve had a lot over the course of my life with illness so if this is a consideration for you like it was for me).
Your GP should be able to refer you to a menopause clinic too, there is one at Queen Charlotte’s (Nick Panay used to head this up, not sure if he still does). There’s a wait but they are very good there too.

You could also try Hormone health in Harley St which is Nick Panay's clinic.
His own waiting list (I heard some time back) was 6 months and you don't want to see a man anyway but there are women on the team.

@Summerdew My understanding is he's now retired from that role in the NHS but I could be mistaken.
