Hi I can’t tolerate utrogestan at all so I’ve been privately prescribed Cyclogest. Lutrogest was preferred choice but nationally unavailable!
anyone had Cyclogest in same situation as me? How was it?

I take cyclogest and for me it has been amazing.

Do you take every night? @Sadbeaver

I do take them every night. 400mg.

For me everything about it has been positive.

But I have never been very good with oestrogen. I couldn't tolerate oestrogen contraceptive pill and even the progestin mini pill.

However cyclogest for me is great.

Hope it works for you

Not sure anyone from this thread is around but I also can’t tolerate oestrogen or oral progesterone, but cyclogest feels like it kicks in almost immediately and alleviates my symptoms!!

I want to try the Mirena coil instead for ease, and wondered if anyone has used it and cyclogest at some stage (not together) and can tell me how they compare? Am so worried about the adverse affects the other type gave me

The mireno coil turned me into a miserable, fat raging mess - I hated it and ended up begging my GP to take it out. I am progesterone intolerant though, but have found Cyclogest the best of all, including utrogestan, for the least side effects
