I feel like I've cycled through an A-Z tick list of horrible menopause symptoms for almost 10 years now.
At first I didn't realise what they were, or thought they were separate.
I began with crippling anxiety, thought I was having a nervous breakdown! Then spent a period with a shoulder injury, which turned out to be frozen shoulder, again I didn't realise the link with menopause. Then came knee "injuries" at the same time as horrific night sweats, the penny finally dropped and i started on oestrogen gel (already had coil in place, which I'd got to deal with increasingly haywire and heavy periods, durrrr yet another symptom)
Things picked up for a while, then I started to feel rotten again and blood tests repeatedly showed v low oestrodial despite highest dose of gel. Switched to patches, same issue. Appointment soon to see about oral oestrogen.
Anyway my current lovely symptom seems to just be pain! Aching legs and arms and shoulders/neck all the time. Does anyone else get this? I'm so fed up! It's not related to exercise or exertion. I've not long woken up this morning and my whole body aches!
Given that hrt seems to be doing naff all, can anyone suggest anything? I already take a Magnesium supplement.
Thank you if you've persevered this far!
