Progesterone Sensitive - Would switching fromprogesterone sensitive sequential hrt to combined hrt help?

I've been on sequential hrt for the last 3 years. I feel really good while taking estrogen (divigel gel) but hate taking the progesterone (utrogestan). It gives me horrible migraine and low mood.
Has anyone changed from sequential to combined HRT to help with this?
Would love to hear about experiences with this or any way to help with the progesterone side effects.
I was considering stopping HRT but I did a dexa scan and am ostepenic.
Thanks

I take mine vaginally which swerves all the side effects I got like drowsiness next day and headaches. Make sure you dont take it within 2 hrs of food as well as it makes the effects stronger. I am also on continuous as post menopause which is usually switched to after a year on sequential so you could ask your GP

If you switch to continuous combined hrt you'd be taking 100mgs Utrogestan every day.

You may feel better or not- one way to find out!

Are you in the UK? Divigel isn't sold here.

Yes I came on to say what the first poster said about taking vaginally. I had terrible crashing lows when I took it orally. My Dr switched me to vaginal (1 x 200mg tablet with an applicator) and the lows immediately disappeared.
