Oh the joys...
That not quite making it to the loo on time, not full on flow, just little leaks...., so frustrating. I'm going away with friends soon and want to take 24/7 precautions... so do I just use normal period pads? Is there a difference between them and e.g. Tena?
Also, I've seen that vaginal oestrogen can help (longer term)... is that over the counter, or via GP?
Thanks for any shared experience...

You need vaginal oestrogen, lots of it. I use estriol cream daily.

You need to start doing kegels. Sign up to the squeezy app.

Next, you need to see a pelvic physio to check your technique and pelvic floor, might be too tight rather than too weak.

Can also recommend Kassie Dewitt on socials.

This doesn't need pads, it needs action. Take it from me, I was you!! Now don't even leak when I sneeze.

Proper incontinence pads are much better for soaking up wee than period pads - I have interstitial cystitis and rely on pads everyday. My favourites are tena lights long ones for every day occasional leaks and if you’re having a day out and are really worried then always discreet work really well and are no thicker than a super sanitary towel.

And yes - you need Ovestin. Lots of it used internally 3 times a week and externally too. Your doctor can prescribe it. It’s made a big difference to me.

That's such useful stuff, thank you both.
