I'm getting really fed up of these two, seem to go with anxiety at times as well. Trying to explain it to DH. feels like rocking even when sitting still.

I just end up lying down listening to music most of the time. I did have shingles in the ear but that has passed so unsure if it is related to that or menopause.

Oh, and tinnitus as well. Anyone else struggling with these? I find walking seems to help a bit oddly.

I started getting vestibular migraines when I was perimenopausal. Which felt like things were moving even when I was still. You’ll need to see the gp and possibly get referred to an ent specialist who can check what’s going on. Mine was originally diagnosed as labyrinthitis. I’m not saying you’ve got what I have just that there are lots of different causes for your balance system to be off and make you feel like this and lots of treatments/help too 💐

Thanks, I am having some tests for other stuff right now and a bit overwhelmed with it all, but if it continues I will go and see them about it. Glad to know there might be some treatments etc.

Last year i have horrible dizzy spells and problems with my eye sight. I think I started to get anxious about having a dizzy spell while driving and it became a self fulfilling prophecy. I began to notice I wasn't dizzy when relaxing at home, with husband or on holiday. Therefore it was anxiety. Doc unwilling to prescribe hrt for this (I am 47). But I have been working on it myself. Recognising when it is building up. The self help book 'Panic' has helped. It's hard though.

Thanks, I am finding trying to stay calm seems to be helping a bit. I am also finding travel sickness is worse e.g. cars and buses, and lasts for longer afterwards.,
