Name changed for this as contains some info I don't want linking to my usual username however I am not a school holiday troll and have been around forever (penis beaker, the great flounce on New Year's Eve, etc)
I have been on hrt a while now with symptoms of peri menopause and have found that I have spots (not weeping or crusty just like hard small lumps) under the skin of my right labia and around my vulva.
This has also coincided with me having sex again for the first time in 4 years (not using a condom so not a latex allergy and doesn't look like herpes, we have both had sti tests)
Is vaginal acne a thing especially in perimenopause? Should I put a post and picture on sporners corner? I'm not worried about them they are just annoying and I dont want my new partner to think I am contagious....I already look like enough of a car crash down there with 2 vaginal births!!
Sorry for tmi on a Sunday morning!!

Oh dear!

There is a name for these and I can't for the life of me remember what they are.
I just recall they are harmless.
I think they are the equivalent of whiteheads/blackheads and are just sebum filled cysts.

OR- Are they warts?

Have you had a look at various websites like the Eve Appeal and Jo's Trust? Might be something on there.
There may be other sites that cover this sort of thing as well.

If you're worried maybe go to a GUM clinic and let them decide?

Thanks for answering @JinglingSpringbells I'm not worried at all that they might be warts they don't look at all 'warty'. I did wonder if they might be ingrown hairs as I have had a tidy up now I actually have someone looking!! I will look at those sites as suggested. Thank you

They could be Fordyce spots. If it's a new relationship, you probably just haven't noticed before, it's just the area is getting more attention now.

I sometimes get spots there, and one became an abscess which ended up with me being diagnosed with T2 diabetes.

But if you're worried you probably should have a medical person check it. None of us can tell from here.

Yes! That's the name I was thinking of. Fordyce!
