CBD oil for sleep

Had a HRT review with GP today: I told her about my broken sleep problems, waking up at 4am ish and not being able to settle again.
I don't want to increase my oestrogen as I'm already on 100 patch, and when I was previously on a higher dose, I had frequent bleeding.
GP suggested that I try CBD oil to aid sleep, and said that she's heard good things about it.
I've ordered some, but wondered if anyone has had experience of using it, and did it help sleep patterns?

I’ve been trying different options too and found reading cbd oil reviews really helpful before picking one. Some people swear by full spectrum for better sleep, while others noticed no change. I had to try a couple before noticing fewer night wakings. Also, make sure it’s a decent strength—some of the lower doses did nothing for me. Checking the reviews helped me avoid the ones that didn’t seem to work for others.

Came across this thread while looking for sleep solutions myself. I used to wake up at 4am almost every night and could not fall back asleep. I tried melatonin and herbal teas, but nothing worked consistently. Then I started using CBD oil from Releaf about an hour before bed. It did not knock me out, but it took the edge off and helped me stay asleep longer. The side effects are very rare, but I still think it is worth knowing about chs before using any cannabis product long term. Just something to keep in mind.
