I have since I was about 10!

charlie10k · 12/03/2024 22:17

I don't, but have lots of allergies since Menopause, so probably should.

Onceacheetah · 12/03/2024 22:18

Me. A Telfast daily.

BiliousOhGod · 12/03/2024 22:18

I did prior to peri-menopause anyway, but have to double my dose some days. I can't drink red wine, though - even dosed to the eyeballs on fexofenadine.

seathewayahead · 12/03/2024 22:20

Not daily but frequently.

AmazingLemonDrizzle · 12/03/2024 22:21

.

Is it a thing with meno then?!

Tomorrowtomorrow77 · 12/03/2024 22:29

BSky · 12/03/2024 23:01

Is this a thing??

Interested to know more. Is this to help with sleep increased cortisol/stress? Or heightened allergies

Velvian · 12/03/2024 23:03

Yes! I've had a streaming nose for 3 years. I have been assuming I'm allergic to the dog, but is ita menopause thing @Crackery ?

poppinpink · 12/03/2024 23:06

Me but I have done for about 20 years! I'm allergic to everything! Sometimes take a couple a day if I'm really itchy etc

Crackery · 13/03/2024 07:17

I've been getting leg, feet and hand itches at night and it was disturbing my sleep. Kept meaning to go to Dr. It didn't get around to it. Been happening for about 1.5/2yrs.

I've been taking a piriton every night for past 6 months or so. It has sorted it.

Was away with sister overnight for spa break and turns out she's she same re itches and has got heavy duty antihistamine prescribed for Dr.

Have heard it may be menopause related...

I'm just experiencing a range of perimenopause symptoms but not that yet!

I've heard of dry skin but not itchy - I know some who take collagen supplements for hair & skin support but not antihistamines. As I say that's probably more dry skin than itchy. Sounds annoying.

It's probably worth a chat with your GP ideally who has menopause expertise.
