Hi all I am at my wit's end with this problem .
Has anyone experienced excessive sweating from their head .

I never took hrt i don't drink alcohol and I'm 57.

Yes I am the same. I was looking at having Botox for it. Apparently this can work well although it is a temporary fix.

Watching with interest. I'm 39 and in the last year or so have started with peri menopausal symptoms. The sweating is awful. On my head, face and neck. It will drip off me :(

Yes I have heard this too @themonkeysarewatching
But because it's my head where would botox go .
Obviously it's an answer for crotch .
I have a very important event coming up and I am dreading it .

When I go to an all day affair such as a wedding I have to bring several changes of underwear. I could just cry .I am overweight but this happened when I was lighter too. I've had all sorts of blood tests and been checked for diabetes but I'm clear .

Yes this happens to me and it's mortifying. I'm 43 and it's gotten pretty bad over the past year.
Getting Botox in next month and hoping it'll sort it out for a while.

Yes. One of my worst peri symptoms. Fingers crossed it seems a bit better after a year on HRT. The sweating head and face is like nothing I’ve ever experienced, and so embarrassing.

My strategy has been just to dress as lightly as possible at all times - plus only ever natural fibres, for everything. I live in light cotton trousers and dresses, and a light jacket. Bamboo or cotton underwear. Wear socks which end below my ankle so my ankles can get rid of heat. Basically allow myself to be cold (but not excessively so) so that it can’t start. Summer is awful though.

Hoping you can find some strategies which work for you too.

They can inject anywhere where the sweat glands are so presumably this includes your scalp? That's what I'm hoping anyway. I didnt pursue it last year as I didn't have enough money but when it gets to the summer I think I will. It's so embarrassing - particularly in the morning when everyone else is coated and scarved up, I am dripping in just a t shirt. People look at me very strangely and I don't blame them. Perversely, I get really cold later on in the day and find it hard to warm up.

Definitely try botox, it is quite successful. I have suffered from excessive sweating since I was 16. Peri is making it worse and unfortunately in the groin area. I do an exercise class and I end up with wet patches between my legs like I have wet myself. I have to change underwear and leggings mid class, so embarrassing.

Spent hours today looking for light coloured patterned leggings to mask the wetness :(

I read on mumsnet some when that someone wore period pants to help with sweating. They absorbed the sweat.

Excellent idea for sweaty nethers.

Not quite so practical for those of us suffering with sweaty heads, but might be fun to try anyway 😁
