Sandrena gel won't dry

I've started gel after being on patches for a while. How do you get it to dry??
I've read the directions, am spreading it out to the size of two hands, leaving it for at least five minutes, then giving it a blast of cool hair dryer etc. Even when it feels like it has dried (no longer feels cold) it sticks to my clothes.
I'm away at the moment and it's warmer and drier here than at home and it still stays sticky.
I'm about to increase the dose and possibly add testosterone, but where will it all go?!

It does take a while to dry, and I imagine it's worse in the cold. I definitely spread it over a wider area but basically I recommend the spray (lenzetto) which dries in a minute and doesn't get on your hands.

Thanks, that's very helpful. Maybe I'll ask for Lenzetto next time.
I wasn't absorbing very well on the patches so was hoping for/looking forward to some improvement on gel but a proportion of it must be staying on my clothes.
I don't understand why an area of 1-2 hands is important, you're not meant to spread it too thinly, but how else will it dry in 'a few minutes' as directed?
It's frustrating.
Thanks again.

Put it on last thing at night, try not to let anything stick to it. I'm getting good at sleeping with the opposite leg bent!

Thanks, I was wondering if nighttime would be better. I could sit in bed with my pyjama bottoms off for a while. It's like faffing around with wet nails, but every day 🙄

Yep, that's pretty much what I do. I wander around making my hot water bottle, brushing my teeth, taking my many pills...whilst it dries a bit.

I really rub it in. I've recently had bloods done to check levels to make sure I absorb it ok, and they were fine, so I think really going for it is ok. I found that leaving a thin skim of it on my thigh never dried - like, 45 minutes later it was still tacky and then stuck to my tights.

So now I just rub it in as much as I can, wipe my fingers off on my thigh, then give it ten mins max. It's usually dry by then. If it still feels tacky, I think that's going to be the gel carrier they use and I blot it with a bit of talc so I can get my tights on without sticking.
