Anyone else having difficulty sleeping? I’m on hrt. I just can’t sleep through the night. I get off ok eventually, I’ve started taking melatonin which helps a bit.

Anyone?

I used to suffer very badly with insomnia, but not due to menopause. I found that when sleep just wasn't happening, getting up was the best solution. For me the harder I tried to sleep the worse the insomnia. So just getting up and watching a bit of TV with the sound off and subtitles on, and making a to do list for the next day was very helpful. I have also found keeping regular hours for going to bed and getting up to be really helpful. But appreciate that is easier said than done if you have work commitments. GL with your quest for sleep! 😴

I feel you, I’ve tried everything and the only thing that works is Zopiclone but the GP will only give out 7-14 days at a time as they’re addictive. Melatonin doesn’t really work for me. There’s an over the counter one called sominex which is good but makes you feel a bit hungover the next day.

I know, I used to use Zopiclone but can’t get it anymore! It worked for me too.

I’ll look up sominex thanks.
