Is this fuzzy head feeling due to perimenopause?

I think I've been in perimenopause for a while, periods have pretty much stopped with a very small amount of staining every couple of months. No night sweats, but definitely feeling anxious and with a very low mood. Life has also been busy and stressful, but I had made a decision to make a GP appointment to discuss it when we get back from our holiday.

But for the past few days I've had this really fuzzy feeling in my head. Not a headache, more of a heavy feeling, and I feel really out of it, like I have to really try to concentrate to keep up with what others are talking about. It came on quite suddenly and just hasn't gone away. I wondered if my blood pressure was low but the feeling doesn't go away when I lie down, and I don't feel any better after a good night's sleep.

Could this all be related or is it something else? I'll definitely be making a GP appointment but I'd really like to feel a bit better for the last few days of our holiday!

Are you sleeping OK? I think I wandered around tired for three years. Sometimes I go to Google something and by the time I've brought up the Google page, I've forgotten what I was trying to find out. I'm 53 and on hrt 5 months, I feel more energetic and I'm sleeping better. I dont suddenly have laser focus!

@xXJoy I am actually sleeping ok. And it's not really like a tired feeling, more of a heavy fuzzy head feeling, and I just feel like I'm not really present if that makes any sense!

I felt quite out of it when my blood pressure was low a few months ago. The GP recommended salt and vinegar crisps and Lucozade sport and it helped. I don't know if it's a menopause thing or not.

It might be, but I would check it out with your GP either way, they can diagnose peri and will check BP etc It could be brain fog which can happen in peri, especially if low in testosterone.
