For those already 3-6+ months into Testosterone

Did you see a rise in your testosterone level/free androgen index in the period between 6 weeks to 6 months, or whenever you had the next blood test?

My levels were undetectable before starting testosterone and I've just got my 6 week blood results which show an improvement.

However the results are not within the range that the specialist said she wanted me to get to. She wanted a free androgen index between 2-6, mine is currently 1.3.

For anyone further along with testosterone than me, did you see a further increase on your later blood tests?

I can't find any information on whether testosterone in women is accumulative after the initial rise and I'm wondering if it can even do that when it's not a case of upping the dose.

My next appointment isn't for a fortnight or so and so I'd be really interested to hear others' experiences with this.

Slightly worried that this is as good as it's going to get....

I think it is cumulative. Mine rose between my initial, second and third blood tests and I'm guessing is the reason they do want regular (at least annual) blood tests - to make sure you haven't gone too high

My blood test was done four months in. It had gone up, but still wasn't within the ideal range. My symptoms of anxiety, lethargy and lack of motivation had improved at that point but I still no libido and still couldn't concentrate at work. My specialist said I could try increasing the dose from a pea size to a pea and a half. A few weeks later my libido suddenly came back and my concentration sharpened. So I think my testosterone is likely within that ideal range now based on those results, but will see at my next blood test - that's in another three months' time.

Thank you both that's reassuring for me. @Tralalalalaaa interesting about the increased dose too; I will ask my doctor about that at the next appointment.
