I get a lot of adverts on my news feeds about things to help menopause symptoms. Has anyone ever tired any of these?

Usually, most of these supplements are like most vit and mineral supplements with some added extras and no scientific proof they make any difference at all. (placebo effect of prescribed drugs and supplements is 30-40%.)
To be licensed as an effective prescribed drug, there has to be more than a 30% proved effectiveness. Also, interestingly, in tests when people are told it's a placebo they still get a 30% improvement! (It's all in the mind!)

If you want to try a herbal product instead of HRT try to focus on one that may have some benefit (but still not scientifically proven) like red clover, black cohosh, for flushes. Sage tincture works for some women on flushes.

Many things like Happy M are hugely expensive and snake oil.

That was my gut feel but I can see how I could get sucked in!

I get spammed by emails and adverts from Happy Mammoth. I've almost been sucked in as it sounds amazing, but I'm sure it can't be as good as it sounds. If it wasn't so expensive I would probably give it a try.

I've never had any of these ads- where are they popping up?

I think it works on an algorithm. I quite often google supplements for various things, so I get targeted with these ads on Facebook, Instagram, etc

I avoid most of that social media t all costs :)

yes they know exactly who you are from your DofB and the posts you leave.

There is a saying that they know more about you than you do!
