How old are you? If you are over 45 blood tests are not used to diagnose menopause and even under 45, it's often based on symptoms as well.

Irregular periods
Night sweats
Hot flushes
Mood swings etc

Your FSH is normal under 30) but this isn't always an accurate test in women over 45.

I am 42, wasn't sure if it was peri or low iron as so tired all the time.

I would say your iron is on the low end of the scale and your folate.
vit b12?
vit d?
other thyroid tests?

the blood tests for hormones are pretty useless as they are constantly fluctuating. Newsons diagnose on symptoms alone

I'd start taking something with iron and folic acid in - feroglobin is good. Both could be better

When my serum folate was that low, I had to take both folic acid and b12 for 2 months to try and boost their levels.

I took b12 under my tongue and was advised to buy pregnancy folic acid and take that.

After 2 months the levels were much better and I did feel a bit better too.

I had something called Macrocytic anaemia which is anaemia caused by a folate or b12 deficiency.

You can't really blood test for Menopause. Or at least you can't reliably test hormones levels without regular periods.

And if your usual cycle is out, that's indicative on its own.

Thank you, my doctor put me on a trial for HRT due to peri symptoms after telling me my blood tests were fine but I wasn't convinced as just so, so tired and anxious. I've just found the results on my NHS app if I'd known I was on the low side I would have not started HRT as I don't think it's actually helping.

It can take a few weeks or even 3-4 months to kick in
