Where to apply HRT creams?

I got a prescription for Estradiol, Progesterone and Testosterone hormone creams a few months ago and I’ve now finally plucked up the courage to start using them.

I have to apply twice a day and I think the consultant said to rub into a different part of the inner thighs or inner upper arm each time but not sure if I am remembering correctly.

Does that sound right? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a patient leaflet in the carton of gel- not used testosterone but there will be the same there. It's worth reading it ( apart from the risks which your dr may have discussed) but for other info about how to use it.

This is the online version.[[https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/files/pil.353.pdf

How to use is on Page 6.

Can I ask what the reasoning was for giving you testosterone at the same time as the other two?
I've heard mostly of women getting those to a stable level then adding testosterone to the mix if needed.

I put mine on my thighs usually. So what your consultant said is definitely similar to what's in the tostran leaflet.

I’m not sure. I had blood tests done beforehand so I hope there was a good reason based on the results from those.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at that
