Dislodged coil

How do you know if your coil has dislodged? I develop some abdominal pain and just feel ' off' . So irritable and tetchy.

I've never been able to feel the strings, but it was in situ in September.

You need an ultrasound scan to check if it's in place.

Mine partly fell out and I could feel it sticking into me when I sat down. Luckily I managed to get an appointment to get it removed that day!

It's definitely worth getting checked out as soon as you can.

Hi Op
Obviously you are worried about this,

Why don't you just make a appointment with either your local family planning clinic, or just make a appointment with your doctors surgery,
So you have reassurance with either options that way you find out what's happened down below for you,

You can do this,
Believe me it's not the first time this will have happened to other women,
Doctors at family planning clinics and at normal doctors surgeries will have lots of times come across thus type of problem issue @Runaround50

Hi Op@Runaround50

Make a appointment for yourself A.s.a.p for you to find out ,what's really happening below,

Runaround50 · 12/03/2023 10:46

@Goodread1 not quite as simple as that. I had it fitted at Liverpool women's hospital, 30 miles from where I live. Local clinics and GP say that I must have it checked by them, as I am under a specialist ( BC history))

I can't feel it. No bleeding. Just feel off and grumpy.

Plus I'm under a bit of stead right now. I've developed Horners syndrome out of the blue and melasma on my face. Teenagers, work, house repairs, all contributing to feeling ' meh' !
