How do you find it?

I know women who have.
It's for OAB - overactive bladder.

If you have OAB and are menopausal, often using vaginal estrogen helps a LOT.
There are numerous threads on it here, including one recently where a woman cyclist was asking for help with her bladder.

Ive used vagifem for years, it doesn't make much difference.

maybe the dose is too low?
Not sure how long you have used it but it changed from a 25mcg pessary to a 10mcg pessary several years ago.
This has come under discussion between consultants (I've read it online) and they suggest that the twice a week dose on 10mcg is not enough for many women as it's far less than the older dose.

It depends on what your symptoms are. Have you had any investigations like how much your bladder holds? or are you getting incontinence?

Have you tried re-loading with 2 weeks every day and then carrying on maybe 4 x a week?

Vaginal oestrogen, no matter what the dose, will only help if your issues are caused by reduced hormones, not all urinary issues are.

Have you been referred to anybody? Many areas have continence physios who are fantastic at assessment and advice
I don't know anyone taking it personally but do know it is very widely used

I agree it depends on what your issues are.
Loss of estrogen affects the urethra and the bladder as they thin and becomes irritated and this causes going to the loo a lot as well as leakage.

Many women have to use full HRT + vaginal estrogen, so unless you have been down that route, it's really worth considering.

Oxyb is really a muscle relaxant that calms the bladder down a bit but it does have some side effects (I have a friend using it but there is also a newer drug out that replaced it, some years ago.) And if weeing too much is caused by a thin bladder lining, only vaginal estrogen /HRT will help.

Is it possible that you have an over active pelvic floor? I had severe urgency and pain. The women's physio showed me exercises for relaxing the pelvic muscles and I bought a pelvic wand to use at home. I also use vagifem.
