Google Gussie Grips (Elaine Miller) and watch her videos etc.

Also the website of Michelle Kenway.

There is only one way to do Kegels but the point is to do them correctly.

Both of the above (women's physios) explain how :)

I used the ‘Squeezy NHS pelvic floor’ app after hysterectomy.
I found it took about 3-4 months to start seeing results but it did help.

Yoga.

Yoga.

Yoga can make things worse. I had to give up yoga as some of the exercises ( bending right over from the waist to touch the floor) can harm the pelvic floor- increases abdo pressure. You'd need someone experienced in working with women with weak pelvic floors.

The yoga I do is a menopause yoga class so it not only helps strengthen core/pelvic floor muscles but helps cope with the symptoms of menopause - hot flushes, mood swings, etc. It isn't an "exercise" class.

I saw a womens physio and she felt me on the inside to check I was doing them right. I'm now doing squeezy 3x a day for 6 weeks and going back to see if I'm making progress.

However in the interim I've found out I have a severe rectocele and possible cystocele, so I'm not holding out much hope!

I'm doing as many as I can though in case they can work miracles as there's no way I want surgery.

I'm rubbish at all those exercises but invested in a Kegel8 recently and definitely seeing results after a couple of weeks...

Same here. The reminder and the counter works well for me.
It has helped.
