Hi everyone. This is my second post in a few days. Doctor put me on evorel sequi patches after terrible pre menopause symptoms. I’m a bit confused about how to apply. I’m going speak to the pharmacist again tomorrow but is this right?
1 Evorel 50 patch, for the first 14 days. Changing twice a week.
Then what next? I’m confused.
after the 14 days, so I use the Evorel conti alternatively with the 50?
thanks x

Did u have another bleed when you started conti patches? I cant deal with constant bleeds. It is all very strange

Not sure which lot's which but I had breakthrough bleed on first progestogen patch (is that the conti?) and then like a normal period after that . Very irritating as it was 13 days continuous bleeding.

GP then ordered me to stop taking them pending tests so am now back to night sweats every flaming (pun intended) night.

My cycle went 60 days and no show of my period. I started these patches and then all of a sudden my period came on 3rd patch of estrogen. Im due to start the conti on saturday but hearing your nightmare im not too sure I want to 😬 my bloods had shown 4 months ago i was in transition but i had a folate deficiency so they wouldn't start me on anything until i had had medication for that, but last year my thyroid went out of whack and i couldn't gain weight... all of a sudden it healed. Ill give this last couple of weeks a Try and if i continue to bleed ill just stop taking them

I started evorel conti 5 months ago after being on evorel sequi for 18 months. I am feeling much better since I started using it. I have dreadful headaches and these have almost stopped. I am also sleeping better. I have had issues with bleeding though, pretty well constant, finll y stopped now, for now at least, but apparently this can occur whilst your body is getting used to it - healthexpress.co.uk/evorel-conti

I have now been on everol conti sequi for 6 weeks , really feeling heavy and breasts are very sore and swollen feel so weighty and I'm actually of small build.Weight is piling on & I feel so uncomfortable. The positive is my mood is better but I feel I can't continue , any suggestions. I haven't bleed at all while taking .

When starting HRT or increasing it can be normal to have irregular bleeding whilst it settles down. It can take 3 months for your body to get used to it and feel benefits so you need to give it time. If starting or changing to continuous HRT it can take up to 6 months until bleeding totally stops.
