Shampoo recommendations for thinning hair

Am in the depths of perimenopause and my hair at the front is getting very thin (and it wasn't particularly good to start with!). Can anyone recommend a good shampoo/ conditioner to help?

Have you considered HRT. That really does help with, amongst other things, thinning hair.

Thanks, but would rather hold off on HRT for the moment. Was hoping someone could recommend a shampoo which would help a bit!

I can’t see how putting something on your hair will really help other than cosmetically helping your hair to look thicker. A thickening shampoo and conditioner might help.
I am in a similar position and have started to take multivitamins that include iron and I have noticed it improves growth. I was lazy towards the end of July and didn’t replace and have started to notice a substantial increase in the amount of hair I lose when washing. I have resumed taking them daily and am hoping they will kick in asap. I’ve also taken Biotin tablets. The reviews are mixed about these but when I was taking multivitamins and Biotin daily, I noticed my hair was growing back. I don’t know whether it was the vitamin or Biotin or both though!

Nioxin, multivitamins especially vitamin B complex and a good haircut.
Also worth testing thyroid levels to see if they are low.
You can buy artificial hair fibres to puff in which are matched to your hair colour to help disguise thinning hair too.
