I used to always get my period around the 25th of the month. After I had Covid it changed and I would get it on the 7th. Now it's changed again to the 1st of the month! I'm 43. Is this the start of menopause?

It's more around the length of the cycle, has that changed?

No, still 5 days

The cycle is the beginning of one period to the beginning of the next, eg 28 days. Mine have gone from 28 days to around 24 days, sometimes shorter. This is a sign of perimenopause.
But being irregular can also be a sign, which could be the case for you although they sound quite regular still?

Upset to periods by Covid can last a good few months. A Gp friend had many women reporting issues from both infection and jabs and when we were discussing it as a group of friends he said to expect it could last 3-6 months.

My own experience (I'm on hrt but was still bleeding when I started and on a cyclical regime ) is that it seems to affect my own cycle for 3. I get a much longer heavier cycle.
