What Hormones if any with Endometrial Hyperplasia after early Menopause? Anyone know a good gynae for advice ...

It's a long one please bear with me .......I had a fairly early menopause - probably happened somewhere between 40-45 (Mirena coil so unclear) currently nearing 50.

Around 4 years ago went to GP as coil so no periods but getting very very tired at 8pm each evening plus lots of pains in legs like I'd done 3 Body Attack or Combat exercise classes back to back the day before. GP not keen to test as no 'classic menopause symptoms' but after explaining mum had meno at 35 gave in and tested 2x both times hormone levels showing menopause.

This year had bleeding and cramps for 4-5 days - for first time in 10 years. So straight to GP as sign of cancer- GP great and referred to hospital. Told have endometrial hyperplasia from ultrasound but when hysterscopy no polyps or other concerns seen and waiting on biopsies to be sure but they are feeling positive.

I know that endometrial hyperplasia is a risk factor for cancer in future and I am keen to understand what i can do to reduce this risk. Consultant was dismissive and poor and suggested new Mirena back in and HRT but wouldn't not go through pros and cons and any options.

I want to reduce risk of cancer and any other health issues so don't want to ignore treatment I should be having. However, currently have a good temperament no crazy mood swings or depressions etc that many friends most 3-6 years older have with their menopause. I have never had hot sweats or any other menopause symptoms apart from the pain in my legs at the beginning. So adding lots of Hormones unnecessarily sounds like this could upset this balance.

In addition, I am stable 2 stone overweight (have just started to lose the weight after a very difficult 6 years due to physical and mentally traumatic time for me and my family) so don't want take meds which will make this weight situation worse as currently I am medication free and apart from my weight and this gynae issue have no health concerns.

Does anyone know of places I can find information about the pros and cons of hormones? Does anyone know about a gynae consultant they would recommend who is good with cases like mine?

Feeling lost and worried if I do the worry thing I'll end up with health issues further down the line or if I do have the hormones I will be giving myself a whole heap of new issues.
