Evorel 25 plus 12 days utrogestan from day 15. Finished the utrogestan 9 days ago and still haven’t had a bleed. Everything I’ve read suggests 2-3 days is the norm.

For info, I am 52, periods were still monthly-ish (very heavy for 2-3 days then almost nothing by day 5, when previously I was heavy for 5-6 days and had 7 days of bleeding overall) but becoming increasingly irregular and I had lots of peri symptoms, including horrendous insomnia, which had me on my knees, awful anxiety, night flushes, a huge increase in frequency and severity of my migraines and more. Historically I had a long cycle of 32-34 days prior to having my dc, but around a 28-29 day cycle after that.

I have had my typical uncomfortable bloaty, crampy abdomen feelings since just before I stopped the utrogestan, but no bleed. Interestingly though, I haven’t had one migraine, which is unheard of, as I am lifelong sufferer of intractable complex migraine (I can lose 15-17 days a month to them, sometimes more, normally).

Is this something to be concerned about or just my system adjusting and finding it’s new level?

My cycle went a bit odd. I've found it's usually 7 days afterwards, it can take a while to sync.

When I first started I missed my period completely and I think only had one when I did, a day after utrogetstan, as I had the covid jab.

Then it synced but then I had covid quite badly and went up slightly in dosage. One cycle was so long I'd have been due to start taking it 2 days after my period so I actually waited till 12 days after the period (skipping about a week) and it seems to have synced again.

I was on the 4 weekly /12 days utrogestan but as cycles lengthened I've shifted to 1st day of month - 14th.

This is why they say to give it 3 months or more as it takes a little time to settle.

Thank you. I will keep on keeping on and see what happens.

I would track everything though, especially migraines (or welcome lack of !)
