I totally agree with Tina,
The regime is not correct for one so new to HRT.
A 100 dose patch would normally be worked up to slowly and over a 12 month period at least ( 3 months per increase). Obviously HRT isn't an exact science and there is scope for flexibility.
Progesterone also needs to be given time. For example, I've been on utrogestan for 3 years. It no longer controls my bleeding, so i know that if I want to continue to gain the benefits of HRT, I must trial a new regime of progesterone.
Are any of your clinicians BMS registered?
I am inclined to say, come off everything to see where your body is at? You would need to do this under the watchful eye of a professional remember, as you are on such a high dose of hormones and withdrawing suddenly will send your body into shock.
You need to ascertain EXACTLY what your most bothersome symptoms are. HRT isn't necessary going to obliterate all of them, anxiety included.
What works for one, doesn't for another, hence the complex nature of menopause treatments.
My anxiety was around driving. It took MONTHS for it to subside and much of that was caused by fluctuating hormones ( I think). I'm still not great now but I can drive the roads which I feared so much, a little better.
