Estradot and Utrogestan 100mg Perimenopause

After months of seeing doc with every peri symptom under the sun and being fobbed off for being “too young” at 41, I have been prescribed a 3 month trial of the above.
To start on day 1. I’ve had light spotting and cramping today and I’m bricking it and too scared to pop the patch on. I have serious imposter syndrome with life and now I’ve convinced myself that everything I’ve experienced has been in my head and if I take the HRT I’ll do myself harm.
I think I’m going crazy.

Anyone else experiencing this with perimenopause symptoms and being fobbed off, and on another note; has anyone used these meds with success??

Please just do it. I notice when I miss putting the patch on when I should I have, night sweats and am definitely just 'out of sorts'. If the doctor has prescribed just go ahead and give it a few months. Drs are so cautious now, plus there are costs involved, they wouldn't have prescribed it without good reason.

You might want to check the dose of the Utrogestan. The capsules come as 100mgs, but if in peri meno and still having periods, it's usual to use 2 x 100mgs, on a cycle of 12 days per month (to match a normal period cycle.)

If you were to use 100mgs a day, every day, there is a high risk of your own natural cycle breaking through and giving you erratic bleeding, instead of one controlled by the HRT.

Yeah it’s 2x 100mg on days 14-26.
This is all new to me and the more I Google and research the more stressed I’m getting.
I’ve came on proper thismorning and hovering over the packet of patches thinking “do I don’t I”.
Add to that one of my kids has taken unwell and so I’m now worrying about that.

Is there a particular time of day to start a patch ie morning or afternoon or evening?

Now, just whack it on now, see how you go, I’m on the same and take the progesterone before bed and I sleep properly and so many weird symptoms have gone or lessened.
